TAKING ROTISSERIES IN A WHOLE NEW DIRECTION

Hobart Rotisserie Ovens move chickens, turkeys, Cornish hens and barbecued ribs in a self basting rotating pattern for perfect browning. The result is meat that's cooked to perfection—moist, succulent and delicious.

Retailers are finding that rotisserie chicken is a great meal solutions item. To help meet this demand, Hobart’s rotisserie ovens have speed, capacity and quality. Hobart’s offering of the electric rotisserie ovens has provided customers with an energy option to fit their particular operation needs. And now Hobart is proud to introduce the new Gas Rotisserie with all the same benefits you have been accustomed to with the electric.

GAS ROTISSERIES

The Hobart HGFR gas rotisserie oven is the perfect fit for any deli footprint. The unit has a 35-40 bird capacity with an average cook time between 55 minutes and one hour and 10 minutes, depending on the size of the chicken and cooking temperature selected.

Hobart HGFR rotisserie ovens are equipped with tempered glass front doors that allow for viewing of the product and showcasing the rear show burner, which provides the open-hearth effect of this rotisserie oven.

“Customers are spending less time cooking at home, but still desire that home-style taste,” says Kent Kazmaier, product line manager for Hobart Corporation deli systems. “Our rotisserie ovens not only provide high quality products, but also an aesthetic and theater-style appeal to customers.”

Other features of the HGFR series include:

  • Manual or fully automatic cooking cycles
  • New digital controls with visual icons, for ease of operation
  • Casters
  • Footswitch stops rotation for easy loading and unloading
  • Powerful interior lighting
  • Stainless steel exterior and interior
  • Insulated panels
  • “Water Bath System” for ease of cleaning

ELECTRIC ROTISSERIES

Hobart’s HR7 and HR5 rotisseries offer customers a 30 percent additional viewing area, which provides the theater effect and influences quick impulse buying decisions. In tests conducted by Hobart, cooking times were faster while consuming less energy—a big savings for customers in both time and dollars spent.

The Hobart rotisseries cook quickly, with even cooking and browning. A forced air cooking action ensures moist and appetizing products. The rotisseries are equipped with automatic controls that record the time and temperature of each cycle. The programmable controls feature five to 15 programs, a grill cycle to ensure consistent browning and a cook-and-hold feature for customer flexibility.

Large double-paned, hinged, heat-resistant glass doors and quartz lamps display products for visual appeal and catch the attention of impulse buyers.

Other available benefits on Hobart rotisserie ovens include:

  • Glass is cool-to-the-touch and easy-to-clean
  • New stand with storage drawer on casters for HR5 and HR7
  • Optional stainless steel back, replacing glass door
  • Nonstick-coated interior parts and accessories for quick and easy cleaning, saving a minimum of 45 minutes per unit/per day in labor
  • Accessories, drip pans, drip trays and rotors remove without tools
  • Stainless steel exterior is durable, smooth and easy to clean
