The FP-250 food processor has something new: diwash^TM covered, warewasher safe hopper, plates and chute. A new material, diwash, allows for easy washing without discoloration, making for an easier-to-care-for food processor. And it is compact and conveniently designed at 50 degree angle for operator convenience. The small base occupies minimal counter space. A carrying handle on back of housing is designed for ease of moving unit. The housing is still constructed of anodized aluminum, with rubber feet on the base to prevent movement or skidding.

Bowl-Style Food Processors

Because Hobart bowl-style food processors are wider than competitors’ models, the product is positioned at blade level. As a result, more product is processed in a shorter amount of time.

The Hobart COOLCUTTER knife on the HCM61 and HCM62 has serrated blades and secondary turning knives which process product faster and with a more consistent cut.

Time is saved with the see-through lid because the operator does not have to stop the processor to check the progress. In addition, there is a large 2-inch-diameter feed tube, which makes it easy to add ingredients during processing.

Hobart food processors also have an exclusive interlock system for added protection. Blade rotation cannot occur until the bowl, bowl cover and safety arm are in position and locked.

The HCM61 and HCM62 are equipped with an exclusive bowl scraper with integrated lid wiping system to save the operator time and energy. There is a four-blade scraper inside the bowl, and only a quarter-turn is needed to scrape the entire bowl.

Larger, continuous-feed food processors feature a combination of slower knife speed and stainless steel blades that can produce high-quality cuts, especially on soft products.

The ergonomic angled design allows for ease in operation when processing products. The machine also comes equipped with an interlock switch system, which prevents the unit from running when the pusher plate swings away or when the hopper is opened.
