Hobart’s WS-series waste
equipment is the perfect addition to any warewashing system. The
WS-series reduces operating costs, and eases the waste disposal
process for foodservice operators by improving dish room
conditions and efficiency.
Even the best-managed dishrooms
can be messy and unsanitary when it comes to waste handling.
Hobart systems help foodservice managers address that problem by
allowing operators to scrap food and paper waste into the pulper
trough or feed hood tray. It's quick and easy. Water flowing
through the system transports the "slurry" to a waterpress. It
emerges as semi-dry pulp, reducing solid-waste volume up to 85
percent. Less waste volume means a savings in labor, sewer costs,
and trash pick-ups.
Because the waste equipment
recirculates 95 percent of the water, there is a real savings on
water costs, too. The Hobart systems use 66 percent less water
than a disposer, and in those areas of the country where high
volumes of water are expensive, the savings can be dramatic.
Saves labor, too
Hobart’s WS-series also save
labor since fewer trips are required to the trash container or are
eliminated entirely.
The waste systems are available
as Self-Contained (WS800/WS1000) or Engineered (Remote) Systems.
The Engineered Systems are complete garbage transportation
systems. The pulper in the kitchen sends the slurry through
plumbing lines to the waterpress located outside closer to waste
pick up, saving valuable kitchen space. The pulp can go right into
the dumpster, eliminating the need to pay someone to take the
garbage out and resulting in fewer openings of the door to the
outside.
Other available features of the
WS-series waste equipment include:
- Stainless steel construction
- Glass beaded pulper tank
- Rotating Delta shearing
cutters
- Particle sizing ring
- Stationary shearing cutters
- Integrated trash box
- Available in either
self-contained or remote systems
